I’m a Canadian-born writer living in New York. My essays, reviews, and short stories have appeared in n+1, the London Review of Books, the New Yorker, the New York Times Book Review, Bookforum, the Guardian, and 4Columns, among other publications. My fiction has been collected in the Pushcart Prize anthology and my nonfiction in Best American Essays. In 2019 I received a grant for creative writing from Canada Council for the Arts. I’m currently an editor at n+1.
